Membership Types

Full Member

Full Member status may be extended to professional people who:

• Are of Colombian birth or descent
• Have attained the age of majority
• Are interested in and supportive of the goals and objectives of the Association
• Have paid the required membership fee

Annual fee for new members CAD$30.00

Spousal Member

Spousal Member status may be extended to any professional person who is not of Hispanic birth or descent, as long as that person/applicant:

• Is the spouse of a Full Member and the applicant meets all the requirements set out in Items 2 through 5 under "Full Member"; or,
• Is the widow or widower of a deceased Full Member and the applicant meets all the above requirements - except #1

Annual fee for new members CAD$15.00

Honorary Member

Honorary Member status may be extended to any member of society as special recognition for outstanding services rendered to the Association or the Canadian Hispanic community at large, or in recognition of special circumstances associated with such an individual and the Association. The extension of such membership shall be at the discretion of the Board of Directors. Such membership shall have no voting power.

Mentor

Mentor status may be extended to professional people who:

• Are of Hispanic birth or descent
• Have attained the age of majority
• Have been accepted as Mentor
• Are currently active as Mentor

Protégé

Protégé status may be extended to professional people who:

• Are of Hispanic birth or descent
• Have attained the age of majority
• Have been accepted as Protégé
• Are currently active as Protégé
